La Cala de MIjas has a nice little town center with a lot of restaurants, super markeds and on wednesdays they have a outdoor marked. Also you have a bank, police, shops, bars, sportsclub and the local buss take to either the town of Fuengirola, Marbella, airport etc.... The beach promenade is long and take you to Cabopino in Marbella in 1,5 hour. Or you stop and enjoy the sea on the restaurants along the promenade. La Cala de Mijas is only 25 minutes drive from the airport. 20 minutes to Marbella and only 7 minutes to Fuengirola. Close to everything.
